The tryouts for the Elk Grove Revolution Select U-16 team will be held at Monterey Trail High School on April 24, 25 and May 1 from 11:45 to 1:45. All players from the 2009 team need to attend tryouts. If due to injury or other problems you cannot make it, please give Dennis a call at (916) 686-7007.
We anticipate that tryouts will be extremely competitive and we should field a very strong team for the 2010 season. The Revolutin will begin practicing as soon as tryouts are finished. It is our plan to play in the Reno Tournament again on June 12 &13. Over the summer we will have a lot of scrimmages and will enter a number of tournaments. In the fall due to the High School soccer season, we will play games on the weekend but the team will not practice during the week.
This season we also anticipate joining the new California League which would be a lower level class I league. We believe that our players are up the the challenge and it should make for an exciting season. Jairo Camargo will be more involved training our team this season. Jairo is the soccer coach of Pleasant Grove High School, Asst Coach at Cosumnes River College, and is a coach at the San Juan Competitive Soccer Club.
The Revolution is on its way to constant victory.
