The Revolution showed all kinds of toughness, skill and teamwork last weekend in Morgan Hill. It was really exciting watching our team battle each game to win a spot in the final 16. Only good teams enter Association Cup so the competition is always high. In addition, most of the teams are 1 year older than us, which makes each goal and each victory that much sweeter.
Now we will play one game on Saturday in Ripon. If we win we play in the round of 8 on Sunday, again in Ripon. Our team can match up well with any team. Hopefully, the goals fall for us this weekend and our defense plays stout as always.
There were so many outstanding plays this weekend that it is very hard to single out individual players for recognition. The entire team played very sound soccer. We are very proud of the team. Thanks for making it such a wonderful weekend.
