We just received word that the In-door soccer facility in Elk Grove (Soccer World) has had to postpone opening until February 15, 2010. So unfortunately, the indoor games will not begin until then. I will keep the team posted on the session when we have more information. At last count, 14 players wanted to play in the Friday night league. Since only 6 are on the field at a time and the games are very short, I was thinking perhaps we should field 2 teams of 9 or 10 players. Of course that would require recruiting a few friends to join the teams. Let me know what you think by voting on the blog pole.
In February, we will need to start practicing for Association Cup. We will be playing in Morgan Hill on March 13 and March 14. The game times have not been set but our opponents in the opening round will be the Rockridge (Oakland) Sting, the Redding Kaos, and the Petaluma United teams. Let me know what day would be the best for practice in February by voting on the blog.
