Tremendous Season Ends as Semi-Finalist

The Revolution season ended last Saturday with a double overtime loss in the Semi-Final Game of Association Cup. The game was a classic between 2 really good teams. Our opponents, the Rancho Cordova Titans are a fabulous team. After 90 minutes of an exhausting battle neither team could get the ball past the keepers, Rancho knocked in a header to score the only goal. The Revolution players should all be commended for playing game with such a high degree of skill, toughness and energy. Oscar O'Con was absolutely sensational in our goal. He made some incredible saves to keep the game scoreless until the Titans finished with a perfectly placed header. There were no losers at the end of the game. The players of both teams were champions.
