Wow! What a weekend. The Revolution advanced as one of the Final Four Teams in Association Cup (Northern California State Championship Tournament). All the boys elevated their game this weekend to beat the San Francisco PAL Boca Juniors on Saturday and the Mustang (Danville) Arsenal on Sunday both by the score of 1 to 0. The team thwarted every attack by our opponents. Oscar O'Con, our keeper made numerous great saves to record another shutout of our adversaries. As a result of great defensive play, we only need a couple of clutch goals to win. No goal this season was as good as Jeremy's shot to the upper V back post in the last couple of minutes of regulation time. This team is simply loaded with players having talent and heart. Great Job.
Next Saturday the Revolution will play the Semi-Final game against the Rancho Cordova Titans in Danville at 9:00 am. It is not surprising that our league rivals made it to the semis with us. It should be a barn burner. The team will have practice on Thursday night. We will tell you the time and location of the practice by email soon.
